Sad Silent Standstill

Things that are wrong
Things that hurt
Things that don't make sense

You try to change them
You communicate them
And try to better them

But if things don't better
You change yourself
You reject what's in you
You change your theories
You change what you believe
You let your soul lie naked

You don't smile or cry
'Coz nothing is right or wrong
Just everything seems different
Different and unusual
And your body,mind and soul
Rejects everything
So for a while you forget
To breathe
To smile
To cry
And arrive at a standstill

Where you know you're sad
But don't see a path
Neither ahead of you
Neither behind you
'Coz you weren't happy before
People aren't happy with your change

So you go back
And make people happy
Shedding your soul
And trying to wear a new skin.

But everything is different
And everything is sad.

This is what life has become now.....

Wanted to spend more
Time with you

Ended up spending 

All my seconds with you
And just you

My old friends faded away

Since I didn't have time
To renew them

Now when you don't
Have time either

I'm left shattered

And all alone
With no soul to share
My thoughts with

Something that makes you
Can also break you
